We are used to thinking of planets as parts of star systems - there is a star, planets orbit around it, and somewhere in one of those systems, we live. But the universe also contains so-called rogue planets - worlds that are not connected to any star at all and travel through space on their own. According to some estimates, there could be roughly 20 times more of them in the Milky Way than there are stars. So why don't we see them? 

Because a planet traveling through the darkness between stars produces practically no light of its own, making it incredibly difficult to detect. Sometimes scientists can spot these objects only because their gravity briefly bends the light from a distant star. So right now, there could be billions of worlds traveling through complete darkness in our galaxy, and we may not even know they exist.

For some people, the experience can be extremely difficult and lead to serious psychological consequences. The scariest part is not even that the person can hear something... it is that they may understand what is happening while having absolutely no way to tell the doctors...

Low-lying regions are especially vulnerable because even a relatively small rise in sea level can make storms and flooding much more dangerous. 

This does not mean that entire countries will suddenly disappear underwater but some areas could gradually become places with a constant risk of flooding. And there is a pretty unpleasant part to this... a home that seems completely safe today could be in a very different situation a few decades from now.

When the heart stops, we usually imagine it as an instant shutdown of the entire body. But in reality, the processes do not all stop at exactly the same second. After the heart stops, the brain can still maintain electrical activity for some time, and in some medical observations, scientists have even detected organized signals. This does not mean that a person necessarily remains conscious or continues to feel something - science does not have a definite answer to that yet. 

The brain gradually runs out of oxygen, and its activity eventually stops. But the idea itself is pretty strange: the heart has already stopped, while the brain may continue working for a little while... and we still do not fully understand what exactly happens to consciousness during those final moments.

One Of The Scariest Climate Change Scenarios Could Begin This Century...

It is important to say right away - this is not a scientific fact or an exact prediction but one possible scenario that assumes serious consequences from climate change. If temperatures continue to rise, some regions of the world could become so hot and difficult to live in that millions of people may be forced to leave their homes and look for cooler places. This could especially affect areas with extreme heat, droughts, and water shortages, while mass migration would put additional pressure on the countries people move to. 

At the same time, the idea that around 5 billion people could die because of climate change by 2076 is not an exact scientific prediction but anything is possible... and we are still capable of stopping it. For example, renewable energy can genuinely help reduce emissions and make cooling more accessible but it cannot simply “undo” the warming that has already happened.
